…it’s time…

lets talk about “Halfway To Haunts” and what it really is

If you’re part of my spooky family, whether you watch my vlogs or are a story surfer over on my Instagram, it will come as no surprise to you that halloween is a lifestyle not a holiday.

In 2021 I started the Halfway to Haunts when I started my youtube channel as a way to celebrate the halfway mark to halloween. It starts the first week of May and runs all the way until the big day Halloween.

What is a MAL?
A MAL is a MAKE ALONG where a group of people work on projects with a them or the same project over a given time.

What are we making?
Anything! create in whatever outlet or medium you feel drawn to! Sew, paint, knit, draw, write, crochet, needle work, bake, do whatever call to you that fits the theme! Don’t forget to DIY or thrift flip any projects you may want too!

There is no need to finish any of the projects your start, but it would be a lot ghouler if you did. The goal of this MAL is to create a community of our spooky year round family. Starting a new project is awesome, while working on something that you have from last year is just as cool.

As I have said in the past, if you’re not sure if your project will count if you can pitch me the idea like a sleazy car salesman I’ll count it.

Remember this is about sharing our love for the most wonderful time of the year, meeting new friends, and making all the things.
