How It Works:
Throughout the month of April, participants will tackle their choice of 4 of the 10 given prompts. Each of the ten prompts are tailored to showcase the diverse and thrilling aspects of horror and thriller genres. From haunted houses to psychological thrillers, each prompt offers a unique reading experience guaranteed to send shivers down your spine. Share your progress, discuss your favorite reads, and connect with fellow horror aficionados in our online community.

THE PROMPTS:

  1. Nightmare Fuel: read a book that has given someone else nightmares or has been described as deeply unsettling.

  2. Ghostly Whispers: choose a book with a haunted house as a central element of the story.

  3. Macabre Mystery: Select a mystery thriller where the killer’s identity is revealed in a showing twist.

  4. Creature Feature: Delve into a book featuring a monstrous creature as the antagonist.

  5. Dark Corners: Read a horror anthology or collection of short stories by different authors.

  6. Psychological Terror: Dive into a psychological thriller that messes with your mind and keeps you guessing until the every end.

  7. Sinister Setting: Pick a book set in a eerie or isolated location, such as a deserted island, cabin in the woods, or underground bunker.
